Venom crawls his way onto the Web (pun intended)

Finally, we have a "teaser-trailer" for the much anticipated Venom movie.

Let's see, we have Eddie Hardy (yes) lying in an MRI machine, which may indicate that he already has Cancer. This next shot, I like from a cinematography standpoint where we see Eddie walking into a store. The snap transition without a change in the position of the camera is neat. And then, Anne Weying right when he says "break-up" which means he is definitely not married to Weying at this point. The next scene, where we see Brock's silhouette is maybe of him entering the Life foundation and discovering their "shady" dealings, immediately followed by a dead body in the facility (?). So it maybe an experiment with the symbiote gone wrong and its repercussion. I am happy with the crash site scene since there were some rumors that the symbiote may be lab-made, which I don't like. If this crash site scene is in relation to space-ship crashing from Klyntar, then we can rest assured, the symbiote will be an alien entity which would make for a much more interesting premise and would form a base for the future build-up of the universe. Eddie Brock is freaking out inside the MRI machine and then, lo and behold, the Symbiote itself. Riz Ahmed's Carlton Drake taking pride over his capture with the other evil scientists from Life. Then, a generic action sequence, Eddie is running through the woods, and ends up in water. This next shot, I like to think is two different shots made to look like it is the same shot. It looks as if Eddie produces a blast causing everything to fly away. I know for a fact that Venom does not have that sort of Magneto-like powers. So maybe they are two different scenes stitched together. We then get a sweet glimpse of Brock about to turn into Venom, with the black ooze crawling through his veins as he screams in pain. The final scene takes the cake in terms of awesomeness. We see Venom's face slowly fading into the scene and turning into the iconic "V", very similar to the opening of Netflix's Daredevil if you think about it.  Overall, a sweet teaser.

With movies these days spoiling the entire plot of the movie in their teasers, I think this movie did a great job by not showing or ruining the plot of the movie (which in essence is Eddie Brock becoming Venom) but by showing enough to build anticipation for more. Mature, serious and intense (hence the R-rating) which already stands as unique in my book, from the other recent MCU/ DC movies/teasers.

But still, where's Venom you ask? You totally didn't read my article, did you?
