My thoughts on E3 2016

When it comes to writing about movies, games or any other stuff mentioned in the tagline of my blog, I must confess, I am not punctual. So I apologize for all the times I have been late to the party and also for the times that I WILL be late to the party in the future. Hence from here on in, I am going to take my time in reviewing stuff on my blog and I am not going to apologize. If my readers want me to review something quick, leave me a comment or a message and I will do my best to put up a review ASAP and for those that don't care about the timing but still enjoy my work, please continue to do so. That said, E3 2016!

I will quickly go through some of the stuff that caught my attention/interested me first, and then for a what is possibly THE best reveal this year in my opinion.

Attack on Titan: The Game - Huge fan. The anime never saw a proper game release. However, this action title looks promising. It reminds of an intense version of Shadow of the Colossus. Nice to see the developers taking inspiration from the best.

Injustice 2 - The trailer was kick-ass. I don't know about the 'Iron-Man'esque armors though. Cannot imagine Supes wearing one. Does he even need that? However, the thing that bummed me was that there is not going to be any PC release. I am not a PS4 gamer (yet), so won't be playing this installment unless they change their mind for a PC release.

Gears of War 4 - Not exactly a hardcore fan of this series, as all of them feel the same including this newest installment. The graphics have seen a facelift. The characters are new. Still will give a try on PC.

Battlefield 1 - WW1 setting. Nuff said.

Tekken 7 - Tekken has been one of my favorite fighting games. I played the crap out of Tekken Tag 1 on the PS2 and Tekken 5. After that, the games have become too flashy for my liking. The story has also taken a backseat after Tekken 5 which was the USP in my book for this franchise (until MK9 came along). Tekken 7 still looks similar to T6 but if 'Mishima saga' (which is apparently the end of the Mishima story arc) as they call it is interesting, then why not?

Telltale's Batman - Telltale. Batman. That is all you need to know.

Vampyr - An action RPG about blood-suckers. Interesting idea. Gameplay seems dark and realistic which is to my liking. Have to see how this one plays out...

And now L&G, THE most interesting reveal at the Expo this year:

*sigh* As a matter of fact, I am losing sleep over this one. Too many questions running in my mind ranging from "is he from another dimension?" to "is the PC version 'cross-my-heart' confirmed?"(which if cancelled, I will personally make sure Hideo Kojima is dead!...Nah, JK. He is a cool guy.), the quote at the beginning (of which I don't understand a single word), the camera, a naked Norman 'friggin' Reedus, the excellent animation and visual style, the way the titles appear, that (damned) song which is stuck in my mind for a week now, and the title itself... every single thing in the teaser raises more and more questions. Trust me, I have never been this hyped over a game trailer which is what I fear since it usually will end up sucking big time. And this is not just me, fans all over the world have been concocting up theories about what is going on in the trailer, which are actually excellent reads. So what does Hideo Kojima, the creator of the superb MGS series (also a huge fan) have to say about this? Basically a big middle finger asking us all to wait. None of his interviews and questions regarding this does not bring up a proper answer. Instead, more questions. If you cannot tell already, I AM ABSOLUTELY HYPED FOR THIS GAME! Please Kojima, do something!!!
